About Us

The District Traffic Branch, Jalna is a dedicated unit of the Jalna Police Department responsible for ensuring safe, smooth, and disciplined traffic movement within the city and rural areas of the district. Operating under the guidance of the Superintendent of Police, this branch plays a key role in traffic regulation, road safety awareness, and enforcement of motor vehicle laws.

Core Responsibilities :



1. Traffic Regulation & Control:

Manage and regulate vehicular movement at major intersections, public events, school zones, and high-traffic areas
Deploy traffic personnel for peak-hour management and festival crowd control.


2. Accident Response & Investigation :

Respond quickly to road accidents within the district.
Investigate causes and prepare reports to assist in legal proceedings and insurance claims.


3. Safety Awareness :

Conduct awareness drives in schools, colleges, and public areas.
Observe Road Safety Week and participate in state-wide awareness campaigns.
